About Us

Siena Adoption Services is a fully licensed placement agency for parents in the Commonwealth of Virginia seeking a child for adoption. Siena offers home studies, counseling, education and post placement services. Our mission is to provide adoption services at a significantly reduced rate so expense is never a prohibiting factor in finding a home for a child. No family or child should be left wanting for a home because of cost.

Amy Gay

Executive Director/Program Director

Amy grew up in southern Virginia and is a mother of four beautiful kiddos. She brings over 15 years of social work experience to the agency. She holds a Masters in Social Work from VCU and has worked as a program director for youth at a homeless shelter. It is Amy’s desire to make the adoption process manageable and understandable for both birth families and adoptive families.

Mary Kate Sparrow

Case Worker

Mary Kate grew up all over the United States. She is enjoying being a busy mother to four active boys. Mary Kate has always been very dedicated to her community. She has a degree in Social Work from Franciscan University. Mary Kate is dedicated to help both birth mothers and adoptive parents in guiding them through the adoption process. She is passionate about helping to build families through adoption. Mary Kate knows you will find that Siena Adoption Services is more than a business, but a ministry to help join children with loving adoptive families.

Annie Surine

Case Worker

Annie grew up all over in a military family. She knows first hand how daunting the adoption process is, and has been blessed with three beautiful adopted children. Annie has a B.S. in Social Work and Mental Health from Franciscan University and also has a B.S. in Nursing from Georgetown University. Annie loves supporting both birth families and adoptive parents through the amazing and unique journey of adoption.
